cheerleading lifting
who thinks cheerleading is a sport?
i dont sure, but my friend is sitting next to me and wont shut up haha. It is one and I am not. I think moving your arm up and down is nothing. and she thinks that people are lifting something like a sport. I raised my babys daycare is a sport haha. but honestly, who is on my side and that is his?
Competitive cheerleading is a sport. Non-cheerleading is not competitive. A sport is a competition where success depends on competing athletic physical skills. Is it hard work and practice? Absolutely. Are there injuries? Absolutely. Well, does not mean that it is a sport? Not really. If all the required practice and conditioning is a sport, then you would have to say that police work, fire fighters, armed struggle, stunt work, performance and dance are all sports. But the thing is, they are not competitive. There some very difficult physical activities that are not sports because there is no competition. Non-competitive cheerleading is one of them. It is an art of interpretation, if it can be very difficult, is that the dance performance! Competition is part of sport, though. Once you move in competitive cheerleading, notation and implementation, then that's when it becomes a sport.
